1. Assistant Aircraft Marshaller – 20 Posts
As an Assistant Aircraft Marshaller, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of aircraft activities at the airport. Responsibilities include assisting in marshaling aircraft, recording daily flight statistics, inspecting the apron for safety hazards, and communicating with air traffic control and ground operations.
- Qualifications: Certificate in Public Administration, Human Resources, Statistics, Accounts, Business Administration/Banking/Commerce (Finance or Accounting), or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Salary Scale: TAAS 2.1
2. Customer Service Officer II – 20 Posts
Customer Service Officers will be at the forefront of TAA’s commitment to excellence. Your role involves interacting with airport customers, providing information, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring the highest standards of customer care.
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/Business Administration (Marketing), Marketing, Mass Communication, Entrepreneurship, Public Relations, or equivalent from a recognized institution.

3. Wildlife Officer II – 3 Posts
As a Wildlife Officer, you’ll ensure the safety of airport operations by monitoring and controlling wildlife around the airport. Duties include maintaining records of wildlife control, advising on potential hazards, and liaising with environmental and wildlife departments.
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Wildlife Management, Conservation Science, Zoology, or equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Salary Scale: TAAS 4.1
4. ICT Officer II (Network Administrator) – 1 Post
The ICT Officer (Network Administrator) will design, install, and configure LAN and WAN infrastructure, implement network security measures, and troubleshoot network issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Network Administration, or related fields. Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., MCITP, DBA) are an added advantage.
- Salary Scale: TAAS 5.1
5. Electrical Engineer II – 2 Posts
As an Electrical Engineer, you will oversee technical support, manage maintenance operations, and ensure compliance with government regulations. Your expertise will help maintain the airport’s electrical systems.
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution. Must be registered by the Engineers Registration Board (ERB) as a Graduate Engineer.
- Salary Scale: TAAS 5.1
6. Mechanical Engineer II – 1 Post
The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the assembly, testing, and maintenance of airport mechanical systems. You’ll also manage projects and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure operational efficiency.
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution. Must be registered by the ERB as a Graduate Engineer.
- Salary Scale: TAAS 5.1
7. Electro-Mechanical/Mechanical Technician II – 5 Posts
Technicians will conduct daily inspections, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure the proper functioning of airport facilities. Your work will be essential in maintaining the safety and reliability of airport operations.
- Qualifications: Form IV/VI Secondary School Certificate with Diploma (NTA 6) or Full Technician Certificate (FTC) in Electro-Mechanical/Mechanical Engineering. Computer literacy is required.
- Salary Scale: TAAS 3.1
8. Assistant Airport Security Officer II – 35 Posts
Security Officers are vital in maintaining the safety and security of the airport. Your duties will include screening passengers, controlling access, conducting patrols, and ensuring compliance with security protocols.
- Qualifications: Holder of Diploma in one of the following fields, Sociology, Public Administration, Linguistics, Public Relations, International Relations, Business Administration, or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution.
- REMUNERATION: SALARY SCALE: TAAS 3.1
9. AIRPORT ATTENDANT II – 10 POST
i. To collect statistical data on aircraft movements, passengers, and cargo tonnage that passes through the airport accurately and promptly;
ii. To record aircraft landings and departures accurately;
iii. To collect revenue where necessary following the approved procedures including landing and par
king charges and passenger service charges from ad-hoc flights, and ensure safe custody until it is remitted to the finance office or banked;
iv. To prepare monthly reports detailing information on the airfield’s performance and status;
v. To ensure cleanliness of airfield and protection of the airfield and conduct 24-hour runway inspection before any aircraft landing and takeoff;
vi. To ensure that grass is cut to approved height and that the general upkeep of the airfield is according to approved standards;
vii. To monitor community activities regularly to ensure a reduction in bird population around the airport and encroachment on airport land;
viii. To contribute to any community activities that could lead directly or indirectly, to bird control;
ix. To liaise with aviation security in ensuring the safety of the airfield and airport users;
x. To liaise with district authorities regarding VIP visits and the condition of the airport; and
xi. To perform other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.
