The Country Operations Manager plays a key role in overseeing and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the organization at the country level. This involves ensuring smooth coordination between different departments, setting and achieving operational goals, and optimizing processes to improve efficiency. The role also involves monitoring key performance indicators, analyzing data to make informed decisions, and implementing strategies to enhance operational performance. The Country Operations Manager is responsible for maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

  • Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management
  • Master of Science in Supply Chain Management
  • – Ensuring safety is the first priority in all Tanzanian operations.
  • – Execute the strategy for T1, T2, transportation, and warehouse capacity and operations.
  • – Ensure inventory control and SCOH cost control.
  • – Country intermediary with the commercial function to support in delivering the best customer service strategy within each sales region
  • – Deliver variable logistics cost (VLC) results.
  • – Ensure optimal productivity levels and process uniformity across T1, T2, and warehousing by sharing best practices and cascading, monitoring, and course-correcting KPIs across the brewery and DC operation regions.
  • – Execute DPO/VPO/LCP means and standards, Drive innovation, benchmarking, and process improvement initiatives to improve the Sustainable DPO, VPO, and LCP KPIs.
  • – Develop and implement strategic plans to reduce operating costs and improve customer service throughout the T1 and T2 warehouses.
  • – Developing the annual Zone Africa ZBB Budget plus analysing, reporting, and rectifying any deviations throughout the year
  • – Plan for Capin, including timing and execution of the spend
  • – Support the implementation of Champion’s and VA initiatives.
