On behalf of the Muhimbili Orthopaedic Institute (MOI), Public Service The Recruitment Secretariat (PSRS) invites dynamic and suitable qualified Tanzanians to fill Twelve (12) vacant posts as mentioned below.
About MOI
The Muhimbili Orthopaedic Institute (MOI), an autonomous institute established under Act of Parliament No. 7 of 1996, is dedicated to providing comprehensive services in the fields of Orthopaedics, Traumatology, and Neurosurgery. Alongside these core services, MOI actively engages in research and offers training and capacity-building programs to enhance the quality of healthcare services delivered to the community. Having received authorization for the implementation of new hires for the 2023/2024 financial year from the Permanent Secretary of the President’s Office Public Service Management (Ref. No. FA.97/288/01/09 dated 25th June 2024), the Executive Director now invites applications from suitably qualified and interested Tanzanians for the following vacancies:-
NURSE II – 1 POST
Qualification: The applicant should be a Holder of a Secondary Certificate plus a Certificate in in one of the following fields: Nursing, Midwifery, or equivalent qualifications from recognized institutions. Must be enrolled by the Tanzania Nurses and Midwifery Council.
Remuneration: MOI Scale
SHOE MAKER II – 1 POST
Qualifications: Holder of Secondary Certificate plus Trade Test I/Level III in leather goods and footwear or equivalent qualifications from recognized Institutions.

RADIOLOGY SCIENTIST II – 2 POST
Qualifications: Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields: Radiography, X-ray Technology, Radiology, Medical Imaging, or equivalent from a recognized Institution. Must be registered by the Medical Radiology and Imaging Professional Council.
Remuneration: MOI Scale
ORTHOTIST/PROSTHETIST II – 1 POST
Qualifications: The applicant should be the holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following: Orthotics, Prosthetics, or equivalent qualifications from recognized Institutions. Must be registered by the Medical Council of Tanganyika.
Remuneration: MOI Scale
ORTHOPAEDIC TECHNOLOGIST II – 1 POST
Qualifications: The applicant should be the holder of a Diploma in one of the following: Orthotics, Prosthetics, or equivalent qualifications from recognized Institutions.
Remuneration: MOI Scale
PHYSIOTHERAPIST II – 6 POST
Qualifications: The applicant should be a Holder of a Diploma in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualifications from recognized Institutions. Must be registered with the Medical Council of Tanganyika.
