About TATC
The Tanzania Automotive Technology Centre (TATC), commonly known as “Shirika la Nyumbu,” was officially established on December 14th, 1985, by a Presidential Order under the Public Corporations Act of 1969. The mission of TATC is to build a reputable capacity in automotive engineering by engaging in research and innovation, facilitating technology transfer, and providing quality assurance services. TATC is entirely owned by the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania and operates under the Ministry of Defence and National Service (MoDNS).
ARTISAN GRADE II (WELDER) – 4 POST
Qualifications: Holder of form IV Certificate (CSEE) and NVTA1/ CBET III or Trade Test Grade I in Welding.
Rumenaration: PGSS 2
ENGINEER II (MECHANICAL ) – 3 POST
Qualifications: Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution. Must be registered by the Engineers Registration Board (ERB) as a Graduate Engineer.

ARTISAN GRADE II (FOUNDRY) – 10 POST
Qualifications: Holder of form IV Certificate (CSEE) and NVTA1/ CBET III or Trade Test Grade I in Foundry.

ARTISAN GRADE II (AUTO ELECTRICIAN) – 2 POST
Qualifications: Holder of form IV Certificate (CSEE) and NVTA1/ CBET III or Trade Test Grade I in auto-electrical

ARTISAN GRADE II (FITTER MECHANICS) – 3 POST
Qualifications: Holder of form IV Certificate (CSEE) and NVTA1/ CBET III or Trade Test Grade I in Fitter Mechanics

TECHNICIAN II (VEHICLE MAINTENANCE) – 1 POST
Qualifications: Holder of a Diploma or FTC in Automobile Engineering from a recognized institution

ARTISAN GRADE II MOTOR VEHICLE MECHANICS) – 3 POST
Qualifications: Holder of form IV Certificate (CSEE) and NVTA1/ CBET III or Trade Test Grade I in Motor Vehicle.
